Dapheo swaps between happily talkative to quiet and meek depending on where he is or who he's talking to. A good in between can feel pretty casual and he has no problems with talking about dreams or hobbies. He's curious about people and places but lacks an interest in most fantasy related topics. He can be picky and indecisive in anything he wants.

He's emotional and genuine with his feelings, loving hard and affectionate to nearly anyone and everyone. However he struggles at times to let issues he has with others surface and would much rather pretend everything is fine until it passes over or becomes unbearably unavoidable. He's prone to being a people pleaser and is easy to please himself in more ways than one. He loves to pay attention to people but it's often he becomes unfocused and wanders off in thought.

A high-school drop out at least with a G.E.D, Dapheo felt he did poorly in school and most subjects though he was average at best. Music is and always will be his greatest passion and skill, he'll always talk about if money wasn't an issue he'd gladly pick up something more to be a writer or performer. Curiosity is his worst flaw and he often will literally stick his nose into business that's not his just to take a look.


History:
Nothing tragic other than a missing mother/father. Daph was born Dawsbury on a boat according to his parent and their doctor friend. Said parent however, often refuses to give details about most of their past or whoever the other side of his genetic coin is, where they came from if they even remember. He pretends it doesn't bother him and most times it doesn't. He assumes his parent feels too hurt by it all.

Dapheo focuses primarily on playing music on street corners to help his 'ill' parent get by. He tries not to beat himself up over something that largely out of his control and was honestly not really worth it for him [school]. Because of his circumstances they've been having a money drain for years that's steadily growing and sinking the two into debt, leaving them semi-homeless. Blood is not something people can just buy at a market after all.

His history is bleak. There's nothing exciting to it that he has yet to uncover. His parent wants him to live as "normal" a life he can as best he can.


Main Power: Aquatic_Adaptation - When submerged in/surrounded by water Dapheo adapts to survive allowing him able to hold his breath far longer than the average person, swim/move faster and endure the pressures/ temperatures of water. He is able to use his senses normally when underwater regardless of impurities that could reduce visibility.


Abilities:
1: Enhanced Bite - Sharp teeth. Strong bite. Om nom nom.

2: Blood Hunter - Can sniff out blood/bleeding subjects within a certain distance & like his parent, survive off of blood as well. Ulike his parent he is not limited to only that as a food source.


Weapons: None.


Weakness:
- His main power is only applicable when submerged in/surrounded by enough water. Transitioning from water to land and vice versa causes the shift to take a few seconds for his senses to re-adapt to the environment.

- His bite may be strong but has limits to what he can bite into and are primarily used for latching onto people. Biting into things he shouldn't such as metal and other harder surfaces can break or hurt teeth/injure him. They can only properly regrow if they are completely removed and given time to regrow.

- Has never been surrounded by unusual amounts of blood or fed off it from a living creature. The possibility of being overwhelmed and unable to focus is high. Other smells can also interfere with tracking. Or just be really distracting.



Other:
- Daph has Type I Waardenburg Syndrome that is the cause for his unique facial structure and white hair patch. It's said his more human parent passed the gene.

- Tends to stand close to people in order to steal their body heat.

- Knows sign language and uses it often, especially to communicate with his parent who cannot speak human language but also when his selective mutism hits.

- Cooking is his second favorite thing but he lacks the tools to do it and just collects cookbooks.

- smoke weed every day 420 blaze it.

- Really likes dresses with frills but won't ever wear them himself.

*Merfolk is the easiest way to identify what he and his parent are related too. They don't grow fins but their adaption and skills in water place them in this category.
